Arizona Regional Economic Development Foundation (AREDF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation that has been impacting the economy since 1985.

OVERVIEW
The Arizona Regional Economic Development Foundation (AREDF), formerly the Sierra Vista Economic Development Foundation (SVEDF), is unique in composition and powerful in its execution of activities. Our organization's mission is to preserve and strengthen the economy within the southern Arizona region through initiatives focused on industry retention, recruitment, expansion, and development.  
 
AREDF FOCUSES ON THREE KEY AREAS:
Economic Influence - Our organization serves as a spokesperson at conferences throughout Arizona concerning economic operations and strategies; we provide feedback to Arizona legislators on a variety of economic topics; and we hold positions on influential state and national economic development councils and initiatives.
 
Local Business Development - Our organization provides affordable office space for start-up businesses and small business owners in the developmental stages of their venture; we facilitating resource referral, including personal counseling sessions on organizational issues, revenue reductions, and expansion plans; and we offer low-interest funding for business façade and infrastructure improvements in the west-end of Sierra Vista.
 
Regional Industry Development - Our organization facilitates commercial site certification for land and buildings throughout the region; and we are leading a number of efforts that promote the development of the aerospace industry, healthcare industry, international relations, and Fort Huachuca missions.

​​EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MIGNONNE HOLLIS
AREDF Executive Director Mignonne Hollis is an accomplished economic development professional with many years of experience in developing and transforming businesses into sustainable enterprises.  Ms. Hollis has developed countless partnerships throughout Arizona and abroad; making her a valuable commodity in our foundation.  She graduated from the University of Arizona and went on to earn her MBA degree from the University of Phoenix.

Member | Public Policy Advisory Committee for the International Economic Development Council (IEDC):
The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to helping economic developers do their job more effectively and raising the profile of the profession IEDC is the world's largest membership organization serving the economic development profession.
 
Chair | Rural Committee for the Arizona Association of Economic Development (AAED):
The Rural Committee provides professional economic development assistance to rural communities, and conducts programs of particular benefit to members in rural communities. The committee also monitors legislative issues that may have a specific impact on the economy.
 
Member | Greater Arizona Development Authority (GADA):
The Greater Arizona Development Authority (GADA) assists local and tribal governments and special districts with the development of public infrastructure. GADA’s goals are to lower the costs of financing and help accelerate project development for public facilities owned, operated and maintained by a political subdivision, special district or Indian tribe. To accomplish this, GADA is authorized under statute to offer both financial and technical assistance programs.
