Arizona Regional Economic Development Foundation has a dynamic relationship with Arizona's international neighbors.

This industry priority focuses on developing healthy, productive relationships with Mexico and other neighboring countries. International economic co-operation provides a mutual economic benefit among nations and encourages growth as countries interexchange their assets.

For international economic relations to be successful, there needs to be mutual respect, unrestricted movement of goods and services, flow of capital, mobility of workforce, and a reduction in regulatory obstacles.

AREDF has worked closely with the Mexican Consulate’s office on a number of projects that both benefit Mexico and southern Arizona.
